Step 4 - Child Interview/Visit

The child is invited to visit a classroom for a day or two. They will be fully immersed into the class. The teachers will assess how well he/she is suited for learning in a Montessori environment by giving your child lessons and observing his/her social interactions throughout the visit. An evaluation/screening with an in-house learning specialist may be requested to determine the appropriate placement for the child.

The guides (teachers) will share with you the current curriculum and details of the classroom after the student visits a classroom. The focus of their questions will be about your child’s personality and specific academic achievements if applicable. The information shared will assist our teachers in making the best classroom placement for your child.
